Makurumure and Partners was founded by Mrs. Portia Makurumure-Chikwape, a seasoned legal practitioner with over 14 years of experience. Having served in various boards and committees advising on corporate governance and legal matters, she envisioned a firm that would combine deep legal expertise with client-centered solutions.
Her journey includes serving as Managing Partner at Makuku Law Firm before establishing Makurumure and Partners. Holder of a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree (LLB Hons) from the University of Zimbabwe, Mrs. Makurumure-Chikwape is registered with the High Court of Zimbabwe and the Law Society of Zimbabwe. With over 14 years of legal practice, she has extensive experience in corporate governance, criminal, civil, labour, property, and commercial law. She is also a legal advisor to several private companies, a mentor, motivational speaker, and community leader.
